Goal: AjeDoku (ah-jeh-DOH-koo) is a chess-themed variant of sudoku: Ajedrez (Spanish for chess) & Sudoku. Fill the 9x9 grid so that every Row, Column, and 3x3 Box contains exactly one of each of the 9 pieces.
Peace Treaty: In addition to normal Sudoku rules, Visitor pieces (enemy color) cannot attack the Host King (friendly color) within the same 3x3 Box.
Attacks: Standard chess moves apply. Sliding pieces (Rook, Bishop) only attack if ADJACENT to the King (empty squares are assumed to be filled later, blocking the path). Knight attacks in a L shape regardless of pieces in the way.
Validation: If a placed piece is highlighted in red, it has violated a rule. Roll-over the piece to see what rules have been broken (a combination of Duplicate in Row, Duplicate in Column, Duplicate in Box, Attacking Host King).
